Based in Oakland County/Southeast Michigan, the goal of Hackers Tour Golf is to give average golfers the tournament golf experience while maintaining the fun and friendship a casual golf league.

We've all heard stories in the past of two friends coming up with an idea that turns into something successful.   Mike Godoshian and John Kowal hope to someday write that story about themselves.  While the Oakland County Hackers Tour is still young and growing:  each year has brought more players, more interest, and opportunity to continue growing this vision...The vision to provide the tournament golf experience for everyday golfers ranging from the consummate low handicap to the weekend warrior.

The game of golf brings people together throughout the world.   This case was no different.   About 3 years ago, shortly after Mike moved into the home next to John, these two discovered golf to be one of many interests they had in common.  From their first round of golf together to many late night conversations in their garages or on the deck, Mike and John made a commitment to build this vision based on their love for the game and commitment to partnership.  Moreover, their friendship and love of a good time, brings a balance to the Oakland County Hackers Tour that may be missed in other golf leagues or amateur golf tours.  While the tour is about competitive golf; Mike and John strive to ensure that commradarie, fairness, and fun are an equal priority.
